A Education.
Welcome to Cambridge.
A welcome from our Head of School and Assistant Head of School.
Dear Cambridge Families,
We hope you and your children are enjoying these fleeting summer days! Before you know it, the new school year will be upon us and we are looking forward to seeing you all again!
It is our delight to welcome your family to The Cambridge School for the 2022-2023 school year! We are grateful for God’s continuing care and provision for us throughout all the challenges of the past few years. As we look to the year ahead, we look forward to moving “Ad Altiora,” which is Latin for “towards higher things”–our theme for the year because we look forward to focusing our best energies this year towards the many wonderful “higher things” of our Christian and Classical mission after several intense and difficult years of operating school amid a global pandemic. And truly, there is a lot to be excited for!
To that end, we welcome all of our new families and we are grateful that you found a compelling mission and a noble telos in which to participate. We welcome back the families who have only experienced The Cambridge School during the global pandemic and look forward to fully embracing the Cambridge experience with you this year. We welcome back families who have been with us for many years and have stood as faithful sentinels, protecting and enriching our community and the lives of our students. And we welcome both our new and returning faculty and staff who bring experience and expertise to our growing team of living curriculum.
We continue to make improvements to our curriculum and programs, to seek and find resources to support this mission from within the school community and without, and we continue to remain true to our founding mission. By every measure, we continue to grow from strength to strength by God’s grace. And it is our hope and prayer that your family has experienced God’s faithfulness in your own lives as well!
We persevere in this labor of love in the hopes that your children will be blessed by the intentional intellectual and spiritual formation that is our daily goal here at The Cambridge School and will, in turn, be a blessing to the world. We trust that God is the ultimate author of the Cambridge story as well as your family’s and, together with you, we look forward to seeing what He will do in and through the school and in the lives of your children as we prepare your children to think well, love rightly, and live wisely for the glory of God and the good of neighbor!
Please be sure to carefully read through this Welcome to Cambridge website as it is filled with critical information. We hope you will find these resources helpful as you prepare for school this fall. Please note that we have separate sections for the Grammar School (grades Jr. Kinder – 6th) and Upper School (grades 7th – 12th).
We are grateful for your prayers as we make final preparations to welcome your children in just a few short weeks. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support for this great endeavor called Christian Classical Education and for The Cambridge School in particular.
Please stay tuned for more information on “Meet the Teacher” and our Opening Convocation! In the meantime, enjoy what remains of summer!
Soli Deo Gloria,
Mrs. Jean Chung Kim

How We Communicate.
Appropriate Communication:
Also, please remember that teachers are busy preparing for the school day in the morning and busy tying up loose ends at pick up. Instead of trying to squeeze a conference into a drop off / pick up conversation, please schedule a separate time to meet with them so they can give you their full, undivided attention.
Communication Channels
Note: All Faculty emails follow the same naming convention – FirstInitialLastName@cambridgeclassical.orgEG: Jim Hamilton’s email is jhamilton@cambridgeclassical.org
